  • The ExSpiron  uses bioelectrical impedance, to measure  the tissue's opposition to carrying an alternating electrical current. 
  • The system incorporates a single-use PadSet sensor and a monitor unit with integrated display
  • Impedance measurements through the disposable PadSet correlate with the volume of air in the lungs.
Minute Ventilation is the amount of air someone breathes in a minute. A change in minute ventilation is the first indication of respiratory deterioration.
